artwork
a collection of recent art pieces, done as gifts or just for fun. Media of works include graphite, watercolor, ink, acrylic, scratchboard, and pen.
motorcycle
A promising dirt bike with a problematic engine traded for $700 and a box of cookies. With very little prior knowledge about motorcycles or engines, me and Matthew did a 4 stroke engine rebuild on my bedroom desk. This project involved self diagnosis of the engine issue, installing a new (and bigger) cylinder and piston, and custom “precise” machining to create our own tool to smooth the cam journals. We got the bike running smoothly first try after the rebuild and bike, however I anticipate this bike to be an ongoing project full of more learning along the way :)
firehose bag
A tote made from decommissioned firehose. A quick exploration in alternative durable materials. This bag design utilizes the existing side creases in the hose as a base support structure. This material is very tough to work with, so using rivets wherever possible to construct the bag was key!
High Above- trail bowl
Keep your dog hydrated while packing light.
We built a foldable Dyneema material dog bowl that will disappear into your pack. Weighing only 12 grams, which is the weight of a single AAA battery. Attached is a small toggle and Dyneema strap to keep the bowl folded up when not in use. Because every good dog deserves Dyneema.
